Day 1: Paro – Check in, After visiting the National Museum take a easy walk down the ancient trail to Paro Ringpung Dzong and back to the town, enjoying the good views of the valley and of Ugyen Pelri Palace.

Day 2: Hike to Taktshang, Zangtopelri and Ugyen Tsemo
Campsite at Ugyen Tsemo
Day 3: On the way to Thimphu, stopover Ta-chog lhakang and walk down the suspension bridge to the temple. Continue drive further to the capital city.
Overnight at Khang Residency or similar.
Day 4: Visit the indigenous Traditional hospital, 13 arts and craft school and National library. Afternoon drive north of the town for 30-45min. and begin your climb uphill to Tango Shedra, a buddhist college founded as a meditational cave by Lam Phajo.
Overnight at Peaceful Resort, Jumolhari or similar.
Day 5: Thimphu – Punakha(3hrs).En-route stop at Dochu La, hike four to five hours long to Lungchutse Temple. Afternoon, drive to Punakha(1250m), hike the temple of the Devine Madman
Overnight at Damchen
Day 6: Drive for 45min. and hike up to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten. Although not as old as the others, one can always appreciate the finest quality sculpture which is rare to be found in most of the other regions. Afternoon drive to Thimphu.
Overnight at Peaceful Resort.
Day 7:Thimphu – Paro valley. (Excursion of Chele la pass and hike to Kila Nunnery). Begin your hike down from Cheli la pass, en-route visit Kila Goemba and walk down another 30min to the side of the road, where you’ll be picked up by your driver and transfer back to the hotel.
Overnight at Tashi Namgay Resort, Tenziling or Similar
Day 8: Drive to air-port two hours prior to the flight schedule.
