Day 1. Paro-Thimphu (1hrs)
The flights to Paro are usually from Bangkok, New Delhi, Kathmandu or Singapore but you always have to produce your Bhutan visa at the time of the boarding. Your visa copy will be send to you in advance before you depart your home.

Arrive at Paro; After clearing all check post and immigration formalities then meet our guide and driver outside the terminal and transfer to you sightseeing. You shall visit the National museum at the Ta-dzong for a brief summary on Bhutanese culture and age old traditions still in practice. It also show cases some of the great Himalayan flora and fauna but among all the most mind captivating are of the gallery that contains several types of wooden masks put on display at the museum. These masks are actually worn by the monks during the annual festivals around the country. Enroute stop over the Wangsisina nunnery, more then hundreds of nuns reside here. It is one of the highest concentration of nuns unlike other nunnery. Upon arrival, check in and later visit Tashichhoedzong spiritually meaning the ‘Fortress of Glorious Religion’, it houses the ‘golden throne’ of the king and the summer residence of the monk body. Day 2.Thimphu sightseeing
Early morning visit National textile museum and National Institute of Traditional Medicine are some of the sites visited today. The Painting school at kawajangsa; the school train and educates over hundreds of students as young as 10-12yrs old. The above with a motive “self reliance“, for upto six years.
Jungzhi traditional Hand-made factory, indigenous hospital and in the afternoon we visit the simply Bhutan living museum, the museum show cases the authentic Bhutanese way of living at a glance. Evening visit Buddha point, a 165ft tall statue of Buddha is the tallest of its kind in the world.  Overnight at Khang residency, Khang residency, Dorji elements (or) similar

Day 3. Thimphu-Gantey
Today we drive further east. En route stop at 108 Druk wangyel chorten at Dochula(3150m/10089ft), the royal botanical park at Lam peri. Further descend to Lobesa where we take 20min easy walk to the temple of fertility. After lunch, we drive 2hrs to the Phobjikha valley. Every year a minimum of three hundred ‘Black Necked Cranes’ visit this wetlands all the way from Tibet during winter. The most distant western district of Bhutan still at its stage of natural beauty, where the impact of modernization is still at slow pace. Visit the 15th century Gantey Goemba,the monastery have recently been renovated after it has been hit by the 2011 earthquake.

Day 4. Gantey- Bumthang(6-7hrs drive)
We will leave early morning drive to Jakar town of Bumthang. There will be several stops in between with en route stop at Chendebji chorten, Yotong la(3450m/11090ft approximately), weaving centre at Zhungney, most of the weavers here weave from yak hair and sheep wool producing one of the finest carpets and textiles are all hand woven. Check in and relax while preparing yourself for the cultural trek the next day. Overnight at Jakar, Gongkhar guest house, Rinchenling lodge or similar

Day 5: Trek begins at Thangbi mani – Sambithang(elev 2850m)

Before we begin trekking, we ll visit the 8th century Jambey lhakang, Kurje Lhakang, the temple named after the incident where ‘Guru Rinpoche’ left behind his body imprint; and then arrive at Thangbi.

Day 6: Sambithang – Tang Ogyen Chholing(elev 2760m)

Day 7: Tang Ogyen Chholing – Kizum(elev 2600m)

Day 8. Bumthang-Trongsa
Morning visit the Red panda brewery and the Swiss farm,then drive 2hrs to the ancestral home of kings of Bhutan. Visit the massive Trongsa Dzong and the largest museum at Ta-dzong, it has religious artefacts, statues collected from all the twenty dzongkhags and stored at the museum. You will then be transferred to hotel.
Over night at Yangkhil Resort, Tashi Ninjay.

Day 9. Trongsa-Punakha (4-5hrs drive)
Drive to Punakha, the winter capital for the monastic body. Visit the ‘Mad-Mans Temple of fertility ‘. Palace of Great Happiness is the only most beautiful dzong in the entire country whose southern part of the dzong has completely been washed away in 1994 flash flood but have been rebuilt to its present form by the people and the government.

Day 10. Punakha-Paro (4hrs drive, 140km)
Morning 1hr hike to Khamsum yuelley namgyal chorten, the hike continues through rice paddy fields and farmhouse. Later retrace your way back to Paro. The 8th century old kyichu is one of the most venerated lhakangs in the country.
Overnight at hotel Drukchen, Ravens neat resort or similar.

Day 11. Paro Tigers Nest (4hrs hike)
Hike to the legendary Taktshang and beyond Zantopelri, Ugyen Tsemo. The ruins of victorious Drugyal dzong stand still even to this hour of time honoring the ‘Drukpas’ who have lost lives on the verge of saving the country from Tibetan Mongol invasions as early as 17th century.
